My name is Sarah Geels. I am a local Grand Rapids artist with a passion to create! I enjoy working in graphite and acrylic as well as my favorite medium— watercolor! I love this medium because of its untamed nature and ability to surprise even the most disciplined artists.

From a very young age, I have had an intense passion for art. Pencil drawings were my first love, and I considered myself an artist very early on (I am sure four-year-old me would agree!) However, it was only when I became a mother and realized how quickly life was moving that I decided to take the exciting and deep dive into art as a business rather than a hobby. What a blessing it has been!

The people I have met, beloved pets I have painted, custom imaginative landscapes I have brought to life— it has all been an extraordinary honor and privilege. And the best part? I have been able to do it (mostly) alongside my children, whose own art inspires me the most.
